Memories

  • Birth was registered 1919, not 1918, so had raised his age. Militia service in Sydney is also as Clyde Thomas Harrison. Same man. 19/03/2020
  • I think you are correct - the family "In Memoriam" notices have him as Private CT (Clyde) Harrison, consistent with birth registration. 19/03/2020
  • Just realised it was his Uncle that was called Clyde who was killed in WW1, Robert was called Bob. 21/10/2019
  • Unfortunately, his brother also died during this war. They were the only boys in the family and both died in their early 20s neither married 21/10/2019
  • My Mother used to talk about when I was young. One of his sisters only died 4 years ago, she would also talk about her older brothers. 21/10/2019
  • I may not have any personal memories to add, however, this man was called Clyde by his family. I know this as he was my Uncle. 21/10/2019
